In the political sphere, the request for the increment of workers’ minimum wage to N30, 000 had been a main bone of contention. While the tussle over this is ongoing, popular socialite Hushpuppi has chipped in his own thoughts. In the midst of this, he also laid out some allegations against Buhari.
The social media celebrity who has no qualms about living extravagantly bashed the president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari over his reluctance to increase the minimum wage.
He particularly accused the president of having just enough to spend more than the demanded sum of N30, 000 on eating one meal alone and yet not being willing to give other Nigerians the privilege of having their minimum wage increased.
Hushpuppi took this swipe at Buhari on his Instagram page where he wrote a rant that showed his disapproval at the resistance from the president.
The Instagram celebrity known for his flair for flashy designer clothes, shoes and accessories did not spare any word in rendering his rant.
For Hushpuppi, it did not sound right that Buhari was living well and eating right when Nigerians cannot get what they want without a lot of squabbles from the Labour Congress.

“Nigeria needs reformation. I wonder when they expect an average Nigerian to have a little taste of good life, I wonder how much and how long it will take for a civil servant to save up to buy an ordinary iPhone smh
It’s such a shame that the president spends far over the minimum wage for one meal – Hushpuppi Source: Hushpuppi/Instagram
I really can’t believe the president of Nigeria, I mean a whole Nigeria can’t endorse he minimum wage of 30,000 Naira which is less than $100. It’s such a shame that the president spends far over this amount for one meal, I can bet his family eats more than a thousand dollars per meal but won’t approve $80 for a month wage to a civil servant who has many mouths to feed in their household”.
This is coming after Akahi News reported that Hushpuppi shared the story of how he overcame poverty to become the wealthy socialite he presently is.
