Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha said this at the commencement of a meeting of the tripartite committee on the issue, boycotted by organized labour.

A team from the organized private sector was also at the meeting, which later went on behind closed doors

The NLC & TUC alongside the unregistered ULC have scheduled a nationwide strike for Tuesday over disagreement with the amount proposed by the govt.

A court ordered the proposed strike suspended last Friday, but organized labour says it is pressing ahead with it.
